Who it's for
The assessment is designed for association CEOs, executive directors, COOs, and chief experience officers, along with the marketing and membership leaders who work beside them, at organizations with $1M+ in revenue. It's also a fit for growth and marketing leaders at companies that serve associations.
Marketing leaders: for the most productive conversation, bring your executive sponsor (your CEO, executive director, or another member of the executive team).
Marketing is busy, but it's hard to say what it's actually moving.
Every performance problem turns into "send another email."
The team is permanently overloaded, and requests keep coming from every direction.
Membership, renewals, or event registrations have stalled heading into 2027.
Marketing hears about decisions only once there's something to promote.
What happens on the call
This isn't a pitch. We'll look at how your marketing function is operating today, including team structure, leadership alignment, technology, data, decision-making, and your organization's readiness for change.

My honest read on what's getting in the way, and what a fix could look like.
Nine elements of a high-functioning, growth-oriented association marketing department
The framework behind the assessment
Developed specifically for associations, the model is built on nearly 20 years of working inside, alongside, and advising association marketing teams, and on a deep understanding of the challenges, habits, and roadblocks unique to them.
The assessment looks at nine conditions, grouped into three layers. Strong marketing performance is the outcome of all nine.
Organizational conditions (1–4)
The foundation marketing needs from the organization: clear goals, measurable milestones, appropriate investment, and leadership willing to adapt.
Marketing leadership (5)
The bridge between organizational ambition and marketing performance: bringing marketing into the decisions that shape the outcomes it's expected to produce.
Departmental conditions (6–9)
The elements marketing leadership can directly influence: department design, ways of working, team health, and measurement.
What you walk away with
After the call, you'll receive a one-page written snapshot of your marketing function, whether we work together or not.
A scorecard. Each of the nine conditions rated green, yellow, or red.
Your top three barriers. The issues most likely holding growth back right now.
One recommended path. My honest recommendation for what to do next.
It's written to be forwarded, so you can share it with your CEO, your board, or your team.

Organizational results that Levitate's strategic work contributed to.
“Brianne turns ambitious strategy into focused action. Through quarterly strategic planning, she helps teams move from reactive work to clear priorities, stronger execution, and measurable results, shifting focus from producing more to achieving what matters.”
Hassana Howe, CAE, AAiP
VP of Membership, American Physical Therapy Association
“She has been a sounding board and helped validate some of the things that we are doing and shouldn't do anymore… I was afraid to let go of it because I didn't want to see any repercussions. But now we have solid tracking on it, that we can say it's time to not spend money on that initiative anymore.”

Questions
It's a real working session. If there's a fit, I'll tell you how I can help. If not, you'll still leave with the snapshot.
Yes! There's no cost and no obligation, and the snapshot is yours to keep and share.
The executive accountable for organizational growth, plus the marketing or membership leader if you have one. Marketing leaders: please bring your executive sponsor. Many of the barriers we'll discuss sit above the marketing department.
Nothing formal. If you have them handy, bring your member retention rate, dues revenue trend, marketing budget, and team size. If you don't know them, that's useful information too.
Your Growth-Ready Snapshot arrives within 48 hours. If it makes sense, it will include one recommended path, such as a focused diagnostic, a strategic planning intensive, or ongoing fractional CMO leadership. Whether and when to take a next step is entirely up to you.
Calendar-year organizations are finalizing 2027 plans now. An assessment before the holidays means you can start January with a plan instead of a backlog. I'm booking Q1 2027 engagements now, and assessment sessions are available through December 18.
